The mission of Hyemin Corp. is to provide advanced therapeutic ultrasound systems which are portable, wearable and IT-integrated devices.Hyemin Corp.'s systems were designed and manufactured based on technologies originated from ROK's advanced defense technologies; for example, highly efficient PZT driving circuit design technology and M&S based system optimization technologies. All major components of Hyemin Corp.'s products are manufactured from top class qualified subcontractor of ROK defense industries which are located around Changwon, ROK defence industry's mecca city. Our first product is SonoBandTM, Wearable Integrated Articular zone Massaging System. Succeeding products of SonoBandTM are SonoShoulderCareTM, SonoStoneTM, SonoDentalCareTM. Eventually, Hyemin Corp.'s wearable/portable/IT-integrated devices will cover all major parts of human body from head to toe.
About Principal Investigator of SonoBand™ system, Dr. Woon Hyun Cho;
Dr. Cho has been worked for more than 30years in developing advanced acoustic systems in ADD( Agency for Defense Development), Korea. His doctoral studies at Texas A&M University focused on anisotropic wave propagation modeling and decomposition of vectorial wavefield data. His major accomplishment in ADD was to develop advanced sonar systems for underwater vehicles. He had studied modeling and simulation of advanced acoustic systems during one year staying in NUWC, Newport as a visiting scientist. After retiring from ADD on 2011, he has invested his whole effort to develop compact wearable therapeutic ultrasound device SonoBand™. using his extensive knowledge and experiences during his career. Now he is working for developing various types of wearable ultrasound device for providing wellness and happiness to many people.
